Berlin filmmakers nom Iran ‘Wishbone’

Globally acknowledged Iranian film ‘Wishbone’ directed by Ali Atshani becomes official section at the 2017 International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema Berlin.

The cinematic work compares and contrasts the ups and downs experienced by a fired coach who met a girl with whom he had a relationship several years ago.                                                                         

Among cast for the flick are Mitra Hajjar, Hossein Yari, Mahchehreh Khalili, Azadeh Mehdizadeh, Bita Atshani.

Some of the flim's accolades include taking home the awards for best feature film and best director of the year at the WIND International Film Festival in the US as well as Best Cinematic Film at the 3rd edition of the London Independent Filmmakers Association Festival.

The Berlin International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema is one of the most rewarding and helpful festivals in Europe for international emerging artists and experienced creators.

This year’s edition of the International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema Berlin will be held September 30 to October 7, 2017.
